that is put into WIDE AREA servcice by the use of high, external antennas aimed
at one of our Access Point Towers.
Q. - What do I need to use it?
A. - You need a wireless network interface, these can be
purchased at most computer stores,
you need an antenna, we can provide one, or you can order one online. You need
a high point on your roof
to mount the antenna. You need a ethernet card in your PC.
Q. - Is it available in my neighborhood?
A. - Wireless DSL is available in the Downtown Lodi area,
and most of the east side of town.

bits per second
Dialup is 56,000 bits per second
Wired DSL is about 768,000 bits per second
Broadband Cable is 512,000 to 768,000 (depending upon location and vendor)
